At Ballywalter Stables, our passion for sport horses runs deep. We are a family-driven business, proudly managed and operated by the Allen family. Our dedication lies in the breeding, development, and trading of exceptional show jumping horses, striving to excel at the highest levels of the sport. Harry and Bertram Allen have embarked on a remarkable journey in the world of show jumping, achieving 5* level success. Bertram's recent participation in the Tokyo Olympics marks a significant milestone in our sports career.

At our farm in Hünxe, our horses are beeing trained by our riders and competed by Harry and Bertram Allen throughout the season, proving their quality at international competitions. This way we offer you an ideal combination of sport and breeding.

HARRY ALLEN

Harry had an incredibly successful 2021, most recently finishing second in both the 4* GP in Gorla Minore and the 5* GP in Oslo, followed by another runner-up finish in the 4* GP at St Lo, France. The double gold medalist from the 2017 FEI European Pony Championships is responsible for the training and competing of the horses at Ballywalter Stables LTD together with his brother Bertram Allen. Following his success in the Europeans, Harry was recognized with the 2017 Longines Rising Star Award for his numerous outstanding performances. In 2018, Harry made his permanent move to Hünxe to join his siblings at
Ballywalter Stables LTD.

BERTRAM ALLEN

The Olympic rider is one of the youngest ever stars of the sport. He started his interest in horses at eight years of age and never looked back. His list of achievements include numerous international Grand Prix wins, Nations Cups and European Championships medals, along with being the youngest ever winner of a Global Champions Grand Prix. Together with Romanov, Bertram climbed into the Top 10 in the world rankings and has stayed among the Top 40 on the FEI World Ranking for the past six years. Bertram made his Olympic debut at the (2020) 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, to finish in 15th place.
