Bertram's Dad spotted Molly at the Sunshine Tour as a 5-year-old, bought her, for Billy Twomey and Anthony Condon to produce. Then at 8 years of age Bertram took up the reins to begin one of showjumping's most fantastic partnership, with many Grand Prix wins along the way (Lummen, Dublin, Verona, Dinard, Stockholm, Geestern.)

In 2013, Bertram and Molly took the Individual Silver Medal at the Junior European Show Jumping Championships in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain. A year later, when Bertram was only 18 years old, the successful combination made history by winning the opening speed leg of the World Championship in Normandy, France where they went on to finish 7th individually.

In 2015, the duo finished 3rd in the World Cup final in Las Vegas, when Bertram was still a teenager. Bertram and Molly also took part on the Irish team at the European Championships in Aachen that same year where they finished 7th (team), and 16th place individually.

Molly has been absolutely outstanding throughout her career, a favourite among the public and her grooms, particularly Marleen Schanwell who has been with her on every step of her incredible journey. There is no doubt that Molly will be missed in the ring.

Bertram says:
"Molly propelled me to the top of our sport at a very young age, and for that, I will be eternally grateful. We now look forward to the future where Molly will enter a new era of her career as a breeding mare!"
